About Me

Maria started her hospitality career after the completion of her Bachelor’s degree at St. Francis Xavier University. She has held senior management roles within the accommodations sector and brought her experience gained in the tourism industry to Quality Visitor Services over a decade ago, where she provides consultation services for tourism operators in carrying out quality improvement projects and upgrades, as well as reviewing plan for new construction.

She began her financial advising career after being recruited by Desjardins Financial Security, the largest integrated cooperative financial group in Canada. In early 2014, she established MK Wong Financial Group. She chose to be an independent broker which gives an array of flexibility for her to do business and consultations with her clients.
